Ossian Lutheran will hold their annual ice cream social on Sunday, June 28th from 4 until 8 pm. Serving brats, maidrites, chips, beans, strawberries, homemade pie, and of course, ICE CREAM.

South Winneshiek Graduates this year were Jena Halverson, Derek Nesvik, Jordan Imoehl, Joridy Lyons, Jason Winkler, Carly Lyons, Ian Lienau, Dillon Hammersland, Cody Hageman, as well as Brandon Christophersen who graduated from Turkey Valley. Congratulations to all college graduates from our congregations as well.
Roy Christophersen Becomes Lay Minister Serving Ossian/Stavanger Lutheran
Ossian and Stavanger Lutheran Churches welcome Roy Christophersen as a new leader in the church. Roy will serve as a lay-person providing the two congregations with Sunday services, visits to elderly and sick and other duties. Roy and his wife, Dee and their family, Bryan, Brandon, and BreeAnna have recently moved into the church parsonage at 234 Jessie Street in Ossian. Roy will be keeping office hours to serve parish members and will also be completing his studies in preparation for entering the seminary to become a Lutheran minister.
