Confirmation Class of 2008!
Congratulations to our confirmation students who will reaffirm their faith on Sunday, May 4th , 2008. Ossian Lutheran students are Judith Marie Henning, Jared Daniel Holien, Derek Thomas Buchheit, Cole Blake Breitsprecher, and Erick Allen Schroyer who attended instruction with these students and will become a member of Springfield Lutheran Church. Stavanger Lutheran confirmands are Joshua Matthew Lyons and Bobbi Jo Ney. Congratulations on your achievements and studies the last two years. These students will share their faith statements on Wednesday, April 30th at 6:30 pm.
Roy Christophersen Becomes Lay Minister Serving Ossian/Stavanger Lutheran
Ossian and Stavanger Lutheran Churches welcome Roy Christophersen as a new leader in the church. Roy will serve as a lay-person providing the two congregations with Sunday services, visits to elderly and sick and other duties. Roy and his wife, Dee and their family, Bryan, Brandon, and BreeAnna have recently moved into the church parsonage at 234 Jessie Street in Ossian. Roy will be keeping office hours to serve parish members and will also be completing his studies in preparation for entering the seminary to become a Lutheran minister.

Green Grass! As the grass greens up and the flowers poke through the hard ground, may we remember to count our blessings and rejoice that our Lord died for our sins but has risen again. Spring is a new beginning for all of us as we open our hearts to serving the Lord. April Service Schedule
